Welcome to our Spring Plant Sale pre-order!
District 127 students, teachers, and administration, in partnership with Liberty Prairie, are busy this spring! We are offering a selection of favorites for pre-order in limited quantities.
Here are the details:
Orders will be available for pick-up at either:
Friday, May 3rd, 1 pm-4 pm, at the farm at Liberty Prairie (550 Harris Road, Grayslake)
Saturday, May 4th, from 9 am-1 pm, at the farm at Liberty Prairie (550 Harris Road, Grayslake)
Sunday, May 5th, 12 pm-5 pm, at the farm at Liberty Prairie (550 Harris Road, Grayslake)
All annual plants are grown from organic seeds supplied by Johnny's Seeds and High Mowing. All potting soil is organic and sourced from Vermont Compost Company and Purple Cow Organics.
All native plants are grown by Possibility Place in Monee, Illinois.

Visit the Spring Plant Sale and Farm Festival on Saturday, May 4th, 9 am-1 pm and Sunday, May 5th, 12 pm-5 pm. We'll offer over 125 varieties of native and vegetable plants, herbs, flowers, compost, and mulch for your gardening needs. At this event, please visit our Expert Plant booth for growing tips and tricks while picking up your gardening supplies. Please visit the educational goats, sheep, and chickens, too!
Volunteering:
We are looking for a few more volunteers for this event. Volunteers can be D127 students or staff. To assist in this fantastic partnership, please consider volunteering on Thursday (5/2), Friday (5/3), Saturday (5/4), or Sunday (5/5) through this link: Plant Sale D127 Volunteering.
We have a variety of different ways to assist.
Proceeds from the sale of annuals benefit the future growth of hands-on learning at the farm and sustainability educational opportunities at District 127.
