Rams Block + Advisory + Open/Off Campus
Rams Block will now include a mandatory 20-minute homeroom for all students, called Advisory. This time will focus on fostering relationships, delivering announcements to all students, and supporting their engagement within our school community.
Advisory: As part of Rams Block, all students will be required to attend Advisory for the first 20 minutes of class (except periods 1/5, which is the last 20 minutes). This time will be designed to foster community, sharing announcements, and social-emotional learning, promoting a positive school culture and student well-being.
Mandatory Rams Blocks: On certain days, Rams Block will require mandatory full 90-minute attendance. This extended time allows for deeper engagement with grade-specific programming and dates will be communicated in advance.
Rams Pass: This pass will allow Grade 10-12 students to leave their Rams Block classroom after Advisory and move throughout the building. Students must meet specific grade, attendance, and behavior criteria, outlined below.
Off Campus (Grades 10-12)
With permission from guardians, completed at registration or using the button below, any sophomore, junior, or senior access to leave the school premises for lunch, Rams Block (if specific criteria for Open Campus are met), and blended courses, as detailed below.
Lunch Period: Students will be permitted to leave the school campus during their designated lunch period, regardless of whether or not they have earned a Rams Pass. They are expected to return to school promptly at the end of the lunch break. Students must scan out and in at the Field House doors.
Rams Block (Open Campus): With off campus permission, students meeting the specific criteria to earn a Rams Pass and have open campus during their Rams Block, will also have the option to leave the school premises during this time.
Blended Courses: In certain instances where student's are enrolled in blended courses, indicated by a BLXXXX course code, they will have permission to leave school campus should they meet academic and teacher requirements to "blend out" during the class period.
